When I came across Steps 4 Success and Ms. Alyssa during my in-home day care search, I had no idea how lucky I was. My 2 year old loves coming to "school" every single day. Ms. Alyssa is simply the best. She handles every aspect of her Day Care both professionally and also with lots of love and fun for the kids. From the nutritious meals, to the learning of early childhood curriculum, to the arts and crafts, to the positive surroundings, everything is orchestrated beautifully. I'm so grateful we found Ms. Alyssa, as I am 100% confident my child is happy and well taken care of while I am work. And ultimately, you can't ask for better than that. Thank you, Ms. Alyssa!

Alyssa is great with our daughter Cora. She is very patient, kind, and you can tell the children love her. Cora even gets upset when it's time to go home. It is like Disneyland to her. She is also very communicative and updates parents with newsletters, menu plans, and pictures. I would higly recommend Steps 4 Success to anyone looking for a great place for childcare.

We are very pleased with the care Alyssa provides for our 15 month old son. We really like that she provides daily detailed notes on his day/meals/activities. Very happy to have found Alyssa to care for him. -
I've been very happy to find Steps for Success and Alyssa to help care for my little one. It's great that she provides healthy meals and my 3 year old has had a wonderful time, he's always talking about what he did with Alyssa. :)

I am very pleased to be writing this testimony on behalf of Alyssa Thalmann. She was a 2007 graduate of the Childhood Education Program at Sullivan County Community College. I was her academic advisor and had been her instructor in several classes. Alyssa went on to SUNY New Paltz to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education.
While Alyssa was a student here, she was extremely capable and hard-working, always striving for excellence. Her organization and preparedness for all of her courses was quite impressive. Her maturity, as well, was also quite impressive, far beyond her actual years. Alyssa stood out far above the group. Alyssa was dedicated to the process of education, and showed a passion to learn, and to do, all that she could while she was a student.
Alyssa had excellent time management skills and a flawless work ethic. She accomplished all of the above while raising a family of two young boys, and now, I understand, she has three!
Alyssa always had the necessary professional qualities to be an outstanding teacher. I am so happy that she is now caring for your children because she is a kind and good person who truly cares about other people, the exact right person who should be helping to shape the minds and lives of young children. -

NYC police officer. Prior to that I was a manager for a Wendy's franchise to which Alyssa had worked for me. Due to her amazing enthusiasm and proffesionalism Alyssa was promoted to a management position by myself. Alyssa is one of the most positive and energetic young woman I have ever met. Always with a smile and a kind word I was never so proud to hear that she started this amazing buisness. To all parents that are contemplating entrusting your children to her, I don't believe there is anyone better or more qualified to take care of anyones children. -

Congratulations to all who put their wonderful children in Steps4Success. My name is Cindy, I live in New York and I had the opportunity to watch Alyssa grow up since she was friends with my daughter. I am going to share a life changing story with you all. My daughter started going down the wrong path in twelfth grade . Her grades were plummeting, she was constantly in trouble. Towards the end of the twelfth grade she was suspended from school for 5 weeks and her graduation was in jeopardy. As a Mom who wanted nothing but the best for her child beckoned on Alyssa Thalman who was a high honor roll student and who was also friendly with my daughter. Alyssa agreed to tutor my daughter in all subjects so that she could hopefully graduate. Alyssa came daily to tutor and took the challenge to heart. She work diligently with Ashley for 5 weeks. My daughters grades went from 55% to a whopping 97.4% that quarter. If it wasn't for Alyssa's determination to help another human succeed, my daughter would have never walked down the aisle with her piers. I t give me great pleasure to write this and tell you all that not only are your children safe with Alyssa but I WILL WAGER THAT SHE WILL HELP EDUCATE THEM to her fullest potential. I TRULY ADMIRE HER GOING INTO BUSINESS AND ENJOY WATCHING HER WINGS SPREAD IN THIS GIVING WAY! Good Luck to Alyssa! I really loved this daycare!! I've searched in my new area to try an find one like
it an I have yet to find one. My daughter loved it ask about going there everyday.

Comment: You want top knotch care and learning for your child this is the place. Alyssa is a very bright intelligent person with that special touch to care and educate your child and bring out their best qualities you will be amazed at what your child will learn threw the expertise provided at this day care rather it be growing and getting ready for the world of school or excelling in school this is where you want your child or children to be. I have known Alyssa for a very long time and watched her grow now dont hesitate call today to watch ur child grow into success
